biographyspending spring semester in japan (and london and the states) was an unexpected break but one that jiyoung needed to take. the "you can't break up with me cause you're bored" and "you can't sleep with
my best friend" texts were causing her problems here and there. it gets bad enough that he threatens to post a picture or two on their school's message board, and she definitely can't have that (the scantity of sigma kappa rested on it), and she finds herself deciding to take a "break" for spring semester with jinri (who is also in her own world of trouble).
the "spring of self discovery", as she had dubbed it, was spent in tokyo, london, and los angeles. the two girls did what they wanted, between four limitless credit cards and parents who wanted to make sure that they were safe. the idea was to get it out of their system so that they could go back to school, and be done with that part of their lives when they returned back to korea. to be the good sigma kappa's that they were supposed to be.
the main reason she had rushed sigma kappa was because of jinri, the girls clicked instantly when they were roommates, birds of a feather jiyoung and jinri. egg white and egg yolk, all that good stuff. so when her friend decided to rush, jiyoung jumped at the opprotunity and rushed with her, and the two were spitting images of what sigkaps were supposed to be. or at least they looked like it. (trouble is apparently spelled j-i-n-r-i-a-n-d-j-i-y-o-u-n-g).
they opted out of moving back into sigma kappa house, deciding that they needed a space of their own, somewhere not too far from it, within walking distance. a place of their own.
